The division's primary assignment is to locate and apprehend subjects who have failed to appear in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland Division.

Many different types of warrants are kept on file in the Warrant Division and the officers are assigned to research those warrants, locate the subject, in state or out of state, and to eventually bring about their arrest.

At the present time there are approximately 3,000 warrants in their files, including Non Support warrants, Criminal Indictment warrants, Juvenile warrants, and a variety of other types of warrants.
