The Field Operations Division's assignment is to serve all subpoenas, Summons & Complaints and Documents that are generated by the New Jersey Superior Court and the Attorney's that practice within them. Another major function of the Civil Division is the service of Domestic Violence Temporary Restraining Orders. (TROs)

These officers are also responsible for carrying out Civil Levys and enforcing Sheriff's Sales.

All of these documents must be served in a timely fashion and their assignment is very demanding.

As demanding as these responsibilities are, they represent only half of what the division is responsible for.

Another Important aspect to this division is to locate and apprehend subjects who have failed to appear in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Cumberland Division.

Many different types of warrants are kept on file in the Warrant Division and the officers are assigned to research those warrants, locate the subject, in state or out of state, and to eventually bring about their arrest.

At the present time there are approximately 3,000 warrants in their files, including Non Support warrants, Criminal Indictment warrants, Juvenile warrants, and a variety of other types of warrants.
